Flare Screen是一种非常常见的掩护，WIKI对Flare Screen的定义：
A Flare Screen is a screen set away from the basketball where the player being screened for instead of cutting to the basket fades out to open space on the perimeter.
简单来说就是掩护球员往远端外线

Flare Screen的用法非常丰富，但是以前常常是为外线射手打造。近年来，随着5-Out Offense的兴起以及内线投篮能力的升级，一种Chicago+Flare Screen的组合招流行起来，比较巧妙，能够有效惩罚绕后(Under)的防守球员。
Chicago打法一般上是定位掩护+手递手的打法，下图4号定位掩护，1号提上，5号运球手递手传球，这种打法就叫Chicago。

这时候4号给5号作一个Flare Screen，x5一般会选择绕后，这样就能5号就能利用远投能力惩罚对方。
