亚洲最北城市是哪座？中国最北的城市是黑龙江的漠河，因地处北纬53度而得名“北极村”，但亚洲最北的城市却比漠河还要北很多，甚至比俄罗斯的摩尔曼斯克更靠北，北到被誉为亚洲最孤独的城市，距离最近城市650公里，还不通公路。

1992年，俄罗斯首家私营航空公司的飞机成功降落在喀拉海边的苔原上，对当地6000多居民而言，这不仅是他们第一次见到商业飞机，也代表他们终于可以离开这座冰冷的城市，去更繁华、更温暖的地方生活。这座冰冷的城市，就是苏联时代被当成宣传典范的“镇边英雄城”：迪克森。

最早抵达迪克森的瑞典探险家、著名的“北极先锋”奥斯卡·迪克森，他沿着叶尼塞河一路顺流而下，在入海口附近的苔原浅滩上偶遇一支因纽特人部落，他们平时住在1.5公里外的一座岛上方便捕鱼，冬季结冰后再横跨冰面将渔获转运到陆地上的冰窖储存。因此，大部分地理学家将陆地居住区和捕鱼小岛统称为迪克森岛，但俄罗斯却拒绝如此命名，因为迪克森城的诞生不是因为因纽特人，而是650公里外的诺里尔斯克。
