On June 24th 2021 Miami Officials evacuated the Champlain Towers in Surfside Florida after the collapse of the neighboring building. When the evacuation was over many animals had been left behind and are still in the building.
Now there are plans to demolish the building with the trapped animals still inside.
The building demolition plan has to stop until all pets are rescued.
