机体背景介绍：
阿纳海姆公司在开发其第6号GUNDAM(开发代号为θガンダム，即MSZ-010 ZZ高达)时，由于MSZ-010复杂的机体结构和变形系统，使得机体的构造非常脆弱。这时，有人提出了将MSZ-010进行全装甲化(Full Armor)的构想，本机即是阿纳海姆公司制造的实践这种构想的试作机体。本机在MSZ-010 ZZ高达的基础上取消了变形、合体机构，机身材料质量也不如MSZ-010，但却换来了装甲的强化及大量武器组件的加装。机体的胸部、肩口增设了大量的导弹发射器，并且为了试验全装甲状态下的机能，这些装备都是固定不可脱离的；头部的火神炮和腹部的高能MEGA粒子炮都只是为了保持平衡而加的，实际上并不发炮(花瓶)；作为主武器的大型超级MEGA加农炮是夸称MS单体携带最高出力的光束炮，是相当强力的武器。由于本机取消了变形、合体机构，因此比MSZ-010早将近半年登场。在镇压培曾的新迪塞斯叛乱中，本机曾被配备于α任务部队。
