这位助理以私人身份为伊万卡工作，已经好几个星期没有和伊万卡在一起了。消息人士表示，她已经远程工作了近两个月，出于谨慎，她接受了检测。目前，这位私人助理没有出现新冠肺炎症状。
知情人士告诉CNN，伊万卡和她的丈夫贾里德·库什纳8日的检测均为阴性。
近几日，白宫内接连有人被曝出新冠检测呈阳性。
7日，特朗普的一名贴身侍从确诊。此人负责特朗普日常饮食的相关工作，还会在特朗普外出旅行期间提供服务。特朗普表示，自己和此人很少有直接接触。不过从当日起，特朗普决定将白宫内部检测频率从一周一次提升至每日一次。
次日，特朗普又向媒体证实，副总统迈克·彭斯的新闻秘书凯蒂·米勒的检测呈阳性，而她的丈夫斯蒂芬·米勒是白宫高级顾问。米勒是彭斯办公室第二名新冠病毒检测结果呈阳性的职员，第一例发生在今年3月份。
